21st ALA Championship Golf Tournament

On 20 July 2026, the ASEAN Law Association (ALA) Thailand successfully hosted the 21st ASEAN Law Association Championship Golf Tournament (ALA Golf) at the Royal Bang Pa-In Golf Club in Ayutthaya Province.

The prestigious sporting event brought together 85 golfers representing six ASEAN nations: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. The tournament serves as a premier platform for fostering regional networking, camaraderie, and collaboration among legal professionals across member states.

Tournament Highlights and Winners

• Individual Championship: Awarded to Justice Rathavich Ariyapachpol, an esteemed member of the ALA Thailand Golf Committee, who clinched the top spot after a competitive day on the course.
• Team Championship: Awarded to ALA Indonesia for securing the highest collective performance across the tournament field.

The championship trophies were officially presented during the high-profile ALA–CACJ Gala Dinner on July 23, 2026. Handing out the honors was Justice Pongdej Wanichkittikul, the newly elected President of the ASEAN Law Association. The gala dinner concluded a week of high-level legal diplomacy and structural planning held in tandem with the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices (CACJ).
